Progressions Magazine
In keeping with the progressive nature of our Association, the B.C. Registered Music Teachers Association Newsletter has just been renamed “Progressions Magazine”.
“Progressions” includes articles that are useful as a resource materials for professional growth opportunities - from teaching tips to composer biographies. Music book reviews on new and upcoming publications of interest are included in every issue. There is information about the BC and the National music writing competition, Canada Music Week events, and musical opportunities that would be important to our membership. We include information about upcoming events, workshops and conventions that are being offered in our province and important events offered across Canada or U.S.A. that would benefit our members. Each issue includes branch reports to keep our members aware of what other branches are offering and promotes networking opportunities.
